TGS is looking for a Group Controller who want to contribute in developing the company's finance function to the next level. The Group Controller will be part of the Corporate Finance and Accounting team consisting of 20 employees and report to Group Accounting Director.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- The position is responsible for reporting the Group accounts in accordance with IFRS. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Drafting Earnings Release and Financial Statements for Group Accounting Director
- Drafting Stock Exchange Releases related to the Accounts
- Coordinating the Annual Report process and completion
- Coordinating the Interim and Annual Audit
- This position has the responsibility for accurate reporting of IFRS16 leases
- This position will be responsible for the overall assessment and documentation of applied principles as well as the annual update of the Financial Manual.
- The position will be hands on, interact and coordinate with colleagues to ensure proper accounting treatment, execution of accounting functions and reporting of results, and lead by example. The role will be the go-to resource for Accountants in relation to applied principles.
- The position is back-up for Group Controller responsible for remote entities and Group Controller responsible for consolidation. This involves having an overview of the role and responsibilities with ability to take on certain tasks from time to time or manage a temporary resource in this position.
- Various ad hoc assignments as part of the Group Controller team
Qualifications; skills and competencies
- Higher financial education at master's level, preferably Master's in Accounting and Auditing
- Minimum 5 years of experience from auditing and / or other relevant experience
from a similar position
- Solid accounting understanding and good IFRS knowledge
- Good Excel competence
- Strong English skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
- Flexible and robust, with a positive attitude
